Pilz PNOZ X3 Emergency Stop Relay

The Pilz PNOZ X3 is a dedicated emergency stop safety relay with enhanced diagnostic features and configurable reset behavior. It accepts dual-channel E-stop pushbutton and guard switch inputs with cross-circuit and short-circuit detection, automatically detecting wiring faults that could compromise safety. Selectable monitored manual reset or automatic reset operation allows adaptation to specific machine risk assessment requirements without hardware changes. An optional plug-in timing module provides a configurable delay-on-deenergize function (0.1–300 s) for controlled stopping of hazardous motion during access. The relay's two N.O. safe outputs are rated at 8 A each, capable of directly switching contactors or safety PLC inputs. LED status indicators for channel 1, channel 2, start, and power simplify troubleshooting and reduce downtime in production environments.
