Delta Electronics — Servo Systems
The Delta ASDA-B3 represents a significant advancement in servo drive technology, delivering a 3.5 kHz velocity loop bandwidth for exceptional dynamic response in high-throughput machinery. The 24-bit absolute encoder provides 16,777,216 PPR resolution, enabling sub-micron positioning repeatability for precision applications such as wafer handling and optical inspection. Advanced resonance suppression algorithms with five notch filters and a low-pass filter effectively cancel mechanical resonance across a wide frequency range without manual tuning effort. The drive supports EtherCAT for ultra-high-speed real-time motion bus communication and includes a 32-bit position capture input for precise registration mark sensing.
