The Advantech UNO-2271G is a rugged edge IoT gateway and industrial PC designed for data acquisition, protocol conversion, and edge analytics in harsh industrial conditions. Based on a quad-core Intel Atom E3950 processor with 4 GB RAM, it runs Windows 10 IoT, Linux, or Advantech's WISE-EdgeStack platform for seamless cloud connectivity. The dual independent Gigabit Ethernet ports with Intel i210 controllers support industrial protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP) on one port while maintaining IT connectivity on the other, enabling secure OT-to-IT data bridging. The entire PCB is potted for vibration and moisture resistance, with an IP40-rated aluminium enclosure that dissipates heat without fans or vents. Comprehensive I/O includes two USB 3.0, two RS-232/422/485 serial ports, HDMI, and an expansion socket for optional fieldbus, cellular, or Wi-Fi modules, making it a versatile platform for brownfield digitalization projects.
